Before I started my academic journey studying Digital Media at UWE Bristol I would honestly say that my skills in digital media were pretty much non-existent (I didn’t even know Ctrl+C, Ctrl+V was a shortcut to copy and paste!) but now I find myself in my final year, soon to graduate, feeling prepared with the skills and knowledge to enter the professional world of digital media and apply all the things I have learned in my three years of study.

Welcome to the Design Enterprise Studio Blog
Design Enterprise Studio is a new scheme at UWE Bristol that offers local organisations free student consultancy in exchange for connecting with final year Creative Technologies students. The studio opened its doors in September 2020. Please contact mic.palmer@uwe.ac.uk for an informal chat about possible opportunities for collaboration.
Whilst gaining experience in working with clients on near real-life projects, DES studio residents are also tasked to respond to current topics via blog posts. Topics may be inspired by previous experiences, may be exploring an emerging technology, or may contribute to an ongoing professional digital media debate.
